3 Blind Queens; part of an illustration series I did while interning at the Seattle Repertory Theatre. (Interning for the rep was amazing.) I designed the seasons play guides and subsequently got to see all the plays! That year they had Mary Zimmerman’s Secret in the Wings, a twist on popular fairy tales. This project launched me in the direction my art would take. It’s a beautiful, haunting play and I should re-visit some of the elements in the script!
