 What: MoreLooser is thrilled to announce its first live mural painting event this Saturday and Sunday (5/17-5/18) in South Park.  Along with an informal all-ages block party, the two-day event will feature live painting from a lineup of some of the city’s most talented muralists and street artists, including Jonathan Matas, Pars, Danimal One and 179.  Our artists will be transforming the exterior of Oswaldo’s Hair Salon on South Cloverdale into a huge large-scale mural, and graffiti company Art Primo will be providing the paint for the event. In addition to live painting and never-before-seen techniques, expect a block party scene with music, a sketching station, and some possible crowd/artist interaction.

About MoreLooser: MoreLooser is a Seattle-based mural program that stands out because of its focus on collaboration and experimental techniques including spray can puncturing, roller skate-painting, human wedding dress-painting and “choose your own adventure”-painting. Most MoreLooser techniques need to be seen to be understood, but the essential takeaway is that MoreLooser was launched with the intention of beautifying the city’s surfaces in interesting ways by way of some of Seattle’s most talented muralists and street artists.
