Blake Lewis "Portrait of a Chameleon" Album Release at The Crocodile
I am so honored to be doing this! Blake Lewis, my fellow Summer Birthday Cancerian just released his album Portrait of a Chameleon. At his album release party I will be creating a piece of art throughout the show.
This in fact is actually how we met. LoFi, early 2000’s, Hip Hop show in the back room while artists painted to the inspiration of the show. When he asked what was playing while I painted I described his set not knowing it was him! We became fast friends and he’s given me the opportunity to do this with him several times with amazing results.
On a side and personal note, my grandma (god rest her little soul) loved this man so much and was his biggest fan. He helped me solidify in my family as me being the best, the favorite all time undisputed champion of all my cousins by talking to her on the phone and wishing her a Happy Birthday! Yeah!! This I am forever thankful for! Come say hi, it’s all ages, all fun and hosted in Seattle’s hot spot The Crocodile!
