2015 Staircase painting | 2017 Staircase remodel set to paint July 2017SOUTH PARK, Seattle WA 2017PROJECT DESCRIPTIONSeattle Department of Transportation and local artist Angelina Villalobos have teamed up to paint the recently reconstructed staircase on 12th and South Trenton. This project will be apart of their ongoing Safe Routes to Schools Program which SDOT’s program to encourage physical activity through walking and bicycling. We will be organizing community meetings to design and paint Spring and Summer of 2017.GOALTo create a welcoming route for community members to utilize the staircase connecting upper and lower South Park.
