Pianos In the Park

[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5XkD8Wxz6eI]Pianos in the Park 2017, Seattle WA179 Welcome to the JungleI had the immense pleasure of painting a grand piano for 2017′s Pianos in the Park. Originally I applied for the SeaTac Airport installation but I was selected for Alki Beach Park’s event July 30th.More info http://pianosintheparks.orgor connect with them on FB @pianosinthepark At the opening reception Lisa Bergman from King FM 98.1 (which I listen to prevelently) and Tomo Nakayama performed on my piano. Nakayama  performed my favorite Grand Hallway song Seward Park which left me close to tears. He also performed a cover of Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah which was breathtaking. I am without the proper words able to convey how my heart is fulfilled by this.I also learned the evening that the 12th Ave Arts center (which I have 2 murals installed in) also asked for a piano for the space. Unknowingly they selected mine! Now I have 3 pieces, all I can say is GREAT TASTE!!Shout outs to Chris Web, Urban Artworks, and 12th Ave Arts for the love and support. I’ll have an update on the July 30th event shortly.<3 Angelina BallerinaIMG_9031
