Cheasty Staircase Info

Cheasty_FlierWe are painting the Cheasty Staircase that runs through the Cheasty Green Space as part of Seattle Department of Transportation's Safe Routes to School. This is the 2nd Staircase they have funded, the 1st being The South Park Staircase. The goal is to create safer spaces for pedestrians to use. We can accomplish this by beautifying the spaces in our communities to initiate use. In South Park's case, since painting the staircase in 2017, many neighbors now not only use it for transit, they also exercise on it, take selfies, and point it out to visitors as a community staple. Public Art wins again! There will be 2 community info meetings hosted in May + we're looking for community partners and volunteers. Send me an email if you're interested in details; onesevennine@gmail.comSLIDESHOW LINK: http://bit.ly/Cheasty_Staircase_SlideThis event is FREE & Open to All.2-Pedestrian-Movement-on-Cheasty-Boulevard.png
