For the month of April I celebrated artists work in my private collection in my little beach home with the hashtag #StudioSundays These are pieces that foster my creativity and make my home feel like a home.For May, I'm celebrating Mother's Day with the mom's in my life juggling not only their passions by running their own businesses, but also raising little ones to be the best persons possible with the #MomCrushMonday hashtag.
This month I'm celebrating artists I've chosen to decorate my beach home with for #StudioSundays Today I kick it off with @tofuthiefzzz aka Lynnz Perry & her portraits of little egg Mercedes & I. This was actually a trade because we both adored each others work & wanted to support the best way we knew how. Lynnz created these amazing pieces with info I sent to her about our personalities. For Moco she played off the theme of Alice & Wonderland 🌹🐰because of Moe's love of cats & sweets. For mine, I love fantasy, unicorns 🦄 , The Dark Crystal & sunflowers. I can't express into words how much these mean to our family. These were presented to @dadda_radda for his birthday in 2016. Her style brings a pop to our living room & absolutely captured our essence (extra points if you get the DC reference!) Give her a follow on FB @lynnzsart | IG @tofuthiefzzz

Pictured is my @iosefatusdraws piece secured for by my twin 🦀@princedakkar It reads ‘West Coast Love, Sons of Sole’ I fell in love with this piece the minute I laid eyes on it at a #pocketfullofmonsters Show years ago. Sua is a talented design & illustrator. 👊✨
April I’m highlighting art from my little Beach 🏝 Home collection. These are artists I want close to my heart 💖🐚 This piece by @ksra_ksra she’s one of my closest friends, paint bae, & traveler buddy. This little blue dress angel watches over me while I sleep. You can’t see it, but there are little gold flecks in the background. I also love the work she does as @theydrift ✌️✨
I missed my #StudioSundays post yesterday trying to complete projects 😩! Here's my belated post; for the month of April I'm highlighting art in my little beach home 🐚. These are pieces that foster my creativity. This little beach caravan by @sunnyjim666 owner of @flatcolorgallery perfectly captures our families surf adventures to the coast, piling up the car in the early morning, & spending all day in my little beach fort drawing & collecting seashells. I actually own a few of his pieces & love his textures, colors, & mood they set. This was apart of a collection of paintings highlighting the outdoors with campfires & open starry skies 🌙✨ my favorite things.
Here’s my last post for April’s #StudioSundays where I share some of the art in my little beach home 🌊. This still life sits in front me as I work on sketches, newsletters, & design work. The piece is by @melissa.ludinfellow artist & creative spirit. It was apart of her show @trueloveart & quickly fell in love with the sea-life scene, particularly the gold drops against the bright yellow 🐠🐚🧜🏽♀️🏝. Anything ocean related really touches my Cancer 🦀 spirit
