Cheasty Staircase Session 01

Saturday, June 2nd friends of Beacon Hill, neighbors, youth, & family came out to paint the lower tier of the Cheasty Staircase. In attendance were Seattle Glow Girls, youth participants from The Seattle Opera Youth Workshop from last month, community members working with me on other projects, neighbors, and young adults from Cleveland High School getting their service hours in.I am so immensely happy with the results, the teamwork and the solidarity on the project. It looks AMAZING! I can't wait for the second session June 9th.Special thanks to SDOT's finest Kristen Ramirez & Ashley Rhead for leading the project and navigating me through the city's bureaucracies. I'm so happy you chose me to be the lead artist on this. Your support is so instrumental! We're hosting a final session June 9th from 10a-2p: FB Event PageFor more info visit The Cheasty Staircase Info PageDon't miss out!
